Airlines & Its Origin Country: An On-going Project
Have you ever wondered to which country an airline belong to after reading an airline name? I have had this doubt many times. With the increasing number of airlines, remembering the country name of the airline is becoming a challenge. There is always a work around – Google Search. But, as far as I know there is no single document / site that lists ALL the airlines in the world and describes the country they belong to.
So, here I am, starting to document these details in a Google Docs Excel Spreadsheet. I am not planning to finish this task over night. Whenever I encounter an airline name while reading, I am going to update this sheet. Just for reference, a handy sheet.
You may access the spreadsheet HERE.

Nowadays, Travel Industry (hotels, airlines esp) has started using social networking websites like Twitter, FaceBook to market their brands, expose availability, promote new products, tariffs, etc. Hoteliers also attract guests by giving promotions / discounts exclusively for the followers / fans of their hotel in Twitter / FaceBook respectively.
