Travopia is founded by Karthick Prabu, a travel industry enthusiast. Karthick has worked in various segments in travel industry: Port of Singapore Authority (PSA), SITA (UK), TravelCLICK, Rezopia, Travelocity.com (US), MakeMyTrip.

In his earlier experience, Karthick has played the role of Travel Industry Group Head, Product Manager, Business Analyst Manager where he handled customer accounts and products worth of multi-million dollars.

He has extensive domain/business knowledge in travel, transportation and hospitality industry. He is an expert in – Hotels, Cruise, Distribution, Packaging Solutions, Website Design & Consulting, Product Management, Reservation (Booking) Systems, Mobile Computing, Social Media and Travel Analytics.

Karthick holds various travel industry certifications including ExpertRating’s “Expert Level Hospitality Domain Certification”. He has spoken at Hospitality India Conclave 2012 and has also helped corporates by co-authoring corporate training kits in travel industry.

Swaminathan Balasubramanian, Creator of Travopia Logo

Swaminathan Balasubramanian (known as Sam among friends) is a Test Engineer at Happiest Minds Technologies, Bangalore. His love for Photoshop started with the Adobe PSP course that was part of his curriculum in his Bachelors. He used to work on his own portraits. He works with various teams on creating posters, banners, logos. Gradually, his network with designers grew. Swami holds a masters degree in Information Technology and he is a certified Photoshop expert.

He likes to invest his skills / provide any assistance for any project that has scope for designing. Where there is design, Swami loves to contribute.
